I am often asked how it is that I am able to see potential in houses under these conditions? In people and houses, I always see potential.

Most people are not flexible to change unless they want it so badly, commit and abandon their stubbornness, but houses are moldable. As much as possible, I try to minimize costs by respecting the home's structure and style and finding ways to enhance those features that we cannot change, or can show another function behind an apparent flaw. In this case, the kitchen cabinets were in perfect condition, and the windows were in good conditions but they were dirty and covered with junk.

This is one of my most beloved and satisfying projects. I was able to not only save this house, but also instill a sense of peace, order, health, and hope in everyone who entered it.

TO THIS ...

The most effective strategy is to go back to the basics, so I chose white. Not every "white" reflects light the same, therefore I choose carefully my neutral colors. Color is one of the simplest ways to bring light to any project. The kitchen handles and new faucet gave the whole space a sense of newness and well-being.

FROM HERE...

We are always in possibility to change our lives at the slightest decision. A simple drop of a strong color can change moods in every room. I told my realtor that I would paint the island black, and he seemed horrified, but once it was all installed, he loved it.

THERE IS NO SMALL PLACE

When I first saw this condo, it had been on the market for an entire year without a single offer being made. As soon as I saw it, even when the window was looking to the interior brick walls, I saw potential in every corner.
In this 500 square foot space, I created an office, a reading area, and a small library. A few months later, I received three offers.
